The "Designer" Breed Borderdoodles
About the Borderdoodles
The Bordoodle is a designer breed; its parent breeds are the Border Collie and the Poodle. The Border Collie first became popular in the early 1800s; he originated in the British Isles. He was bred from many varieties of sheepdog to be a top herding dog. The Poodle can be independent and will become the alpha dog if he is spoiled. He is highly intelligent and playful. The Bordoodle is great with kids; he is recommended for anyone from singles to senior adults. He does not require a great deal of exercise and is a wonderful companion dog. He often has medium-length hair that does not require the maintenance of either parents breed.
